Update: I’m Still Shooting Film

I haven’t posted in quite a while, so I just wanted to write a quick post giving a little update. I’m still shooting film and I’m still going to be posting on here and on my YouTube channel. Kelsey and I have recently moved to a new home and we had to move all of our belongings ourselves, so it took quite a while.

We are all moved in and almost finished unpacking, so soon I will be back to posting regularly. I have been trying to pick up the camera here and there, but I have just been passing out by the end of the day and haven’t had my mind on photography at the moment. It’s been a very stressful experience. If you follow my instagram you’ll see more updates there from time to time.

Our Old house

During the move, I did take some video and photos of our old house because it was a bit emotional for me to leave after living there since I was 18 years old. I hope to make a video and blog post about it, so be sure to subscribe and stay tuned.

PLEASE take a moment to sign up to get my articles in your inbox!

I’m also very excited to reveal my new home office and camera cabinets that are now displaying my collection. I finally have enough room to scan film and repair my cameras in one place. At our old home I had to do these things all over the house, even sometimes in the bed.

I’m working on a few reviews and videos that I can’t wait to share with you all. I hope you’ll stick around. Thanks for your patience and support so far. I’ve really appreciated it.

Until next time, stay motivated and keep shooting.

  1. Keep your head up Aly, I don’t have a house move to stress me out and I’m definitely going through a lull too. Thankfully I wrote a whole crap-ton of articles earlier this year to keep my output going, otherwise, I’d be taking a break too.

  2. 1962: The year the Nikon F Photomic T was introduced … and the Asahi Pentax HV … and the Konica F … the second production year of the Canon 7 … introduction of the Canonflex RM … a reemarkable year in film photography’s evolution. I’m sorry to see you leave that iconic address behind, but I wish you blessings and good fortune at your new home.

  3. You perfectly described my life in May – all moving and no shooting. I’m looking forward to your photographic explorations Aly!

  4. Looking forward to seeing your new home and posts. Life events always like to interrupt our fun!
